The Shun Classic 4-Piece Steak Knife Set includes four Classic 4.75 in steak knives in a gift box. The fine, non-serrated edge glides through steak without sawing, cutting fewer fibers so more of the juice stays in the meat, and the length handles a large steak while keeping good control.

Blades and handles: The knives have a VG-MAX stainless steel core clad in 68 layers of stainless Damascus (34 per side) and edges sharpened to 16 degrees. VG-MAX is Shun's proprietary stainless steel; it builds on VG10 with more carbon, chromium and tungsten for strength, corrosion resistance and a fine, sharp edge. The D-shaped ebony PakkaWood handles are resin-impregnated hardwood that resists moisture, with a full composite tang and stainless steel end cap.

Care: Hand wash the knives with mild dish soap, rinse and towel dry right away. Do not put them in the dishwasher. Cut on a wood board, not glass, stone, tile or ceramic, and do not use the knives on bones, frozen food or fruit pits.
